Gary Hogeboom is a former NFL quarterback who played for the Dallas Cowboys, Indianapolis Colts, Phoenix Cardinals, and Washington Redskins from 1980 to 1989. He was born on August 21, 1958, in Lansing, Michigan.
Hogeboom played college football at Central Michigan University before being drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the 5th round of the 1980 NFL Draft. He served as a backup quarterback for most of his career, but did have some opportunities to start games throughout his time in the league.
After retiring from football, Hogeboom has worked as a real estate broker in Michigan. He also appeared on the reality TV show "Survivor: Guatemala" in 2005, finishing in 7th place.
Overall, Gary Hogeboom is remembered as a solid NFL quarterback who had a respectable career in the league.
